How It Works
- The user registers (if not already registered) as one of the two roles – Volunteer or Donor.
- After successful authorization of the user the user is taken to the Home screen. This screen is common for all users.
- From here the user can access all the screens.
- The difference in working is in the forms for data entry, where the Donor can post donations whereas the volunteer can post requests and select the donations they need and schedule a pickup according to preference. Based on the role of the user the data is stored in different sections of the database and is fetched accordingly.
- Another difference is in the profile section where the donor can manage his donations and see his past donations whereas the volunteer can control the status (Completed / In progress) of the donations they have received.

DART Programming Language
This application is developed using Dart as a programming language. Dart is a general-purpose programming language. Dart is an object-oriented programming language developed by Google. that means that every value in Dart is an object.
Flutter Framework
The UI of the application is developed using Flutter Framework. Flutter is an open-source mobile UI framework that helped developers build native-looking Android and iOS apps from the same code base. The central idea behind Flutter is the use of widgets.
Firebase
For authentication, storage, database collections (Backend) of this application we have used Firebase. Firebase is a Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS) app development platform that provides hosted backend services such as a real-time database, cloud storage, authentication, etc.
Gravit Designer
Initially, for designing the UI of our Application we have used Gravit Designer. Gravit Designer is a free full-featured vector graphic design app that works on ALL platforms.
